Need help provisioning samsung Admire

Hi im using a Huawei M735 as my donor phone, its also the phone that i am currently using with metro pcs. Im trying to activate a Samsung Admire that's already a metro phone but i wanna activate it without paying the extra charges. I've placed the esn and Meid of my M735 on the Admire, and dialed *228 to activate, but it keeps saying the phone is already activated on another account. Do i need to deactivate the M735 before activating the Admire ?? Any help is greatly appreciated.

yes deactivating the other phone would help

You have to wait 30 days from start of billing cycle to get a new number or transfer number on previously activated phones.
