Root Need Help Radio No Longer Works

Lurker
In the process of trying to root my phone, my radio has stopped working and my phone can longer connect to the network. I unlocked my bootloader. Then I installed the PH44IMG.zip that Apache Thunder originally put out and now my phone can't connect to the network. Nothing I'm doing is fixing this problem. I tried the updated file in the new ROM post he made and used both "mainver" versions. It hasn't helped. Someone that actually knows what they're doing please help!!!

Also I can't even do a stock restore with CWM because I can't seem to get that to install on my phone after carefully following the instructions. Maybe if someone can help me with that I can manage to still restore my phone.

Did you try using the ##786# hidden menu code to reset your phone? ##CLEAR# is also an alternate method that Boost provides for this phone for resetting the network settings. If the full stock PH44IMG zip file I sent you doesn't fix it, then it can't be related.

None of my zip files will flash the radio firmwares or touch them and manu users have used my zip files without reporting any network problems.

I did exactly the same thing last night... I need to root mine in order to restore all the contacts, programs, and crap from my deceased ZTE Warp (may it rest in many pieces)

I talked with Apache Thunder for some time in PM on here about this before I went to bed.

I ended up installing the stock rom, doing the system software update the normal way by going to software upgrade on the phone, which worked even though I am unlocked, allowing it to finish, and then it rebooted and all was well.... It scared me, and I am waiting for a fool proof one step root... screw my contacts, who needs them anyhow...

There is actually a whole thread on this very topic....I read through it, and was still a bit lost.

If you install the OTA update after unlocking the phone, then you might notice 4G/Wifi not turning on. You'll need to flash the kernel in hboot if that occurs.

The full stock zip didn't work. Just tried the hidden menu codes now and they didn't work either. I've only used files from your posts as I just mentioned to you in our pm, so unfortunately, this couldn't have resulted from anything else. I did already have the update from Boost so I'm going to try the Kernel flash now. I hope that works.
