Root Need help re-rooting phone

Hi so i succesfully rooted my phone, with the help of this video called "How to root evo 4g with hboot 2.18"


then i tried to unroot it after with the same guy

but the ruu didnt work because i have 5.07 image version. but my phone still says it locked because of that, how can i unlock it again? please help me! >.<

First of all..Welcome to the forums here!!!
In that video, how far did you get rooting? Unlocked, s-on?
Can you post what it says in your bootloader screen?
Do you know what ruu you ran?
We can help more with the info from the bootloader screen.
Pull your battery, then reinsert battery.
While holding the volume down button, press power.
The next screen will be your bootloader screen.
Just post back everything written on that screen

Go to this guide and use the htcdev method to unlock your phone again and follow the rest of the instructions there.

Thank you for you help, i have a rooted phone again.
Now i just have one more dilema but i think i would have to post it in another thread!
it involves my settings being erased because of metamorph. I can't access it or anything. This is the reason of me unrooting and rooting it, but yeah thank you for you help!

You cannot access settings?
After you did the htc dev method, it would have wiped your phone so any apps/data/contacts etc would be gone.
Even metamorph should be gone.
Have you installed the custom recovery and superuser yet as outlined in that guide?
You can, instead of flashing the su file, flash a rom....
