Need help, replacement phone re: dowloaded programs

I'm getting a replacement phone today from Verizon (Droidx), I know my contacts will be saved through Google but what about the 100 or so programs I've downloaded from the Market. I use App Brain, will this reload all my programs to my new phone and will all the settings (customization) be the same.

I re-flashed my Droid last night and two thirds of my apps downloaded automatically. I used Titanium Backup to restore the missing apps and data. None of the app settings came through. The Launcher Pro Plus restore worked really well.

Your market (i.e. that market when you log into the same Google account that you used before) will remember all of the downloaded apps that you installed via the market - any apps that you manually installed it normally will not. If you log into a different Google account it will not remember b/c the apps are linked to your Google account.

App settings will not come through. That has to be manually done. Only basic settings like phone setup and whatnot are stored in Google's cloud, AFAIK.

Johnlgalt is correct, all apps you downloaded from the market will come through in time. Just don't mess with your phone for at least a half an hour after initial log in and they and your contacts/calender (if you use the google calender) will repopulate. Unfortunatly app data and settings are only locally stored so if you don't have current backups of said data (hence why TiBu is so important if you root).

Now if you have a current nandroid backup on your SD card then none of this matters because it will restore EVERYTHING!!!!!! Just like you had it. Another big advantage to actually getting involved in your phone and not just using it as a pretty toy.

sorry my Prejudices are showing. Hopefully this will help because having to go all the way back through Angry birds is a pain..... course you might get a better score.
