Root need help rooting my lg volt

I have a virgin mobile lg volt and this is my first time rooting with a computer and i need help because i really don't know what to do. If someone can show me step by step i can do it thanks

You don't need a computer. Just download and run towelroot.

Towelroot don't work anymore I've tried it a thousand times.

So you must be on the latest update. You'll have to downgrade to root again.

How do u downgrade?

You need a computer, the ability to install some drivers on that computer, and a couple hours to go back, then reupdate with the ROM
