Root Need help rooting optimus m

Hi i am new to the forum i have a optimus m it says i have the 2.2 in it, I have downloaded z4root and root explorer 2.13.3 when i got to the apps to remove the bloatware it wont switch from R/O files even after tapping the icon to change it. Any help i can recieve will be appreciated

you must have superuser..you can download it free off the market.and ive had trouble using the temporary root option.i had to permanent root..but make sure you have superuser..and then once you do,close all apps and retry root explorer.it should then ask you for "superuser permission".click allow and now you should have R/W..hit the thanks if this helped you out.
