Ok so I jumped ship from Verizon to Sprint and now only was able to sell both of my droids...which equalled $400...I was also able to luckily show up to the mall sprint kiosk and they just got 2 HTC EVO's that just came from UPS. lol. So I got those phones for free lol. plus I get $200 mail in rebates sweet deal right..yup. Ok so the whole point of this thread is I am wanting to root my evo. I know the battery life kinda sucks as of now but I am wanting to root and play around with a few roms to get it performing at it's best. I had a motorola droid rooted and running Bugless Beast 0.4 Android 2.2 rom so i'm not all that new to rooting. Any help would be apprecited.
p.S. I did already try putting the pc36img.zip. I reboot into recovery mode and it scans the file like it's suppose to. But I get a message that says...."Main version is older!...Update Fail...Do you want to reboot device.
