Help need help system wipe

i just bought a used galaxy note I717 and it has no rom on it... to add to that if i try to hook it up to the computer it says driver install failed how do i get it back in use with out a back up of anykind i have the phone in the twrp recovery mode but other then that im stuck please help !!

I can speak only with experience of the international Note - GT-N7000 - but here goes....

Drivers are included with Kies. You may not need or want Kies itself, but it's an easy way to get the latest drivers. Once installed, attach your device to make sure the right drivers get set up. If you then choose to uninstall Kies you will be asked if you want to keep the drivers installed. That's what I have done.

I've never used TWRP, but I assume it works in a fashion similar to CWM, in which case you need to download a ROM to the external SD card on your computer (or another phone?) and can then flash it from there. Otherwise you can download a ROM to your computer and use PC Odin to flash it onto the phone over USB.

The instructions should be fine, I assume, although obviously you will need to source a ROM suitable for your device model.

This sound kind of strange and I must add that we must encourage all note owners to activate the security and if for some reason persons may find this site to get the phone back in order maybe we could have an area for that which the moderators could trigger to other such sites to be aware of. Just a thought!

it wont connect to the computer just keeps saying drivers failed to install ... also I have kies but on the galaxy s2 the note wont go past the Samsung screen so I couldn't use kies anyways and on that note ive tried using odin and that doesn't work either because it needs the phone hooked up to the computer
