Help Need help transferring photos and videos

Ok I've followed the instructions for transferring photos and videos to my pc..Hooked the phione to my pc via usb cable..mounted as a disk drive. The problem is I only get 1 new removable disk under my computer and it is labels cd/m drive and nowhere in it is there a dcim folder. Sometimes when I try and open this cd/m drive I get an online popup from verizon wireless wanting me to install some verizon program which I really don't want to do. Any help would be appreciated..Bob

Did you ever take a picture with the phone? If you haven't then the folder might not have been created yet. You can make a folder on the SD card and put pictures in it and the phone should find them and put them in your gallery.

I had problems connecting to my pc. Found this tip and it worked for me. Call the number ##7764726 (password 000000). Under feature settings, disable CD Rom. Be careful changing anything else. It could screw up the phone.

I believe that you must reboot the phone for the change to take effect.

After you plug in the phone and select Disk Drive are you pressing "Done"? Do you see the USB symbol in the notification bar and when you pull down the bar does it say the USB connection type is Disk Drive?

If the answer is yes to all of the above try opening "Computer" (or My Computer) and refreshing the window. You should have two entries related to the phone - one is listed as a CDROM and the other is a removable disk. If not what happens when you plug in a flashdrive? Does Windows detect it and assign a drive letter?
