I wanted to do a clean wipe and reformat of my SD card and start over. (I've never been rooted, btw)
I thought I'd do a recovery on the phone first, then have the phone format the card...BUT when I held down the power button and volume down button, I selected recovery and twice it's just gone to a black screen with a red exclaimation mark over an image of the phone. Any tips?

FYI for others that may be confused also, when at the screen with the red exclamation point, then hold down the Power button and the Volume UP button to be able to wipe it.
