Hi,

I hired a few developers to make me an app, where it does the following:

Select any video from your gallery and convert it into 4 sides. Same video playing, but playing in all 4 sides, left right, up, down. Please see pictures attached. then it must play full screen. that's all!

Is there an extension that can be used? they all say its not possible for android but it is for IOS. can someone help me here so i can guide all this developers.

Thanks again

I don't see why it can't be done...I have an IP camera viewer app (which I highly recommend) that shows up to eight (edit: it might only be six) mini-windows showing mpeg video fed over separate TCP/IP socket connections.

Now, they're not 24 frame full-motion video, by any means (but the feed is very good/acceptable)--I'm guessing the bottleneck would be from the network video stream/feed, but that wouldn't or shouldn't be the case with a video that was already on the Android device.

Don't know exactly how to do this, but some folks obviously / clearly do (like Robert Chou, the dev of the aforementioned app).

Cheers!

I have hired about 5 different developers, after 2 days, they call come back saying it cant be done. It looks so simple, but i guess it must be harder than what it looks.. Anyone can guide me to someone that can do it, or can help with ideas for these developers? I wasted about 2 weeks (2 days each developer) and need this done before the 4th of nov.... people are wiating for this app..

Just out of interest, if 5 developers told you it can't be done, what makes you think it can?

Because it can, theres another app with the similar feature, not every famous, about 10 downloads, so this is why i know it can be done, because it has been done before.

Can you get any feedback from the developers as to why this was not technically possible to do? Did they all come up against the same problem? As Scary Alien referenced an app which streams multiple feeds to separate windows, then that's possible. I wonder if it's the rotation of the the image that is tricky. Can't believe it is not technically possible, but then 5 devs had a go at it..
