Root Need help with bwc theme.

Hey guys. I just installed the BWC theme on my phone. It looks great but I'm not getting the CRT effect. I thought it looked cool for the phone to go off like an old tv, thats why I got this. But it's not doing it for me.....:(

Flash the following to your phone like a ROM or theme update. No need for data or cache wipe.

I feel like such an idiot. Right after I posted this I went into my display setting and realized I had all animations turned off.

Everyone may proceed to pelt me with bricks now.....lol.

Another thing I have noticed is I don't have the full theme. I have all the icons and such but it kept my background, lock bar, and app draw. Any idea as to why?....I flashed it twice because of this with the same result.

If you don't have Spareparts installed then install it. Open Spareparts and set "Window animations" and "Transition animations" to "Normal" and uncheck "Fancy input animations".
 
I didn't flash that file. I got it to work. Only thing now is I don't seem to have the full theme as I stated above.

The lock bar should have changed, the other things you mentioned will not....I am using Go Launcher as a home replacement......you can get the dock background and the wallpaper from the BWC folder on your sd card.....if you want the dock icons I am using, you have to download those....It's all in the BWC thread, you have to read the full first post.

I'm glad you caught this. I keep forgetting that the whole framework is taken back to an earlier version if you deviate from the one you have on your system. I knew something wasn't right when I grabbed that file and I could not remember what it was. Next time, I"ll just follow my gut and leave the question to be answered by another.

bouchigo, Just a quick question. How do I get my dock Icons to text rather than the pics like is shown in your screenshots?. I have gone through the BWC folder but don't see anything like that in there. Is that a feature of a third party app such as go launcher?
 
You need a home replacement app like Go Launcher, LPP, ADW EX, etc., and you need to download "Tallmin icons" (Google is your friend ;))
 
Okie Dokie.....I try searching through the posts for this info but my god, there are so many of them it makes me dizzy.....lol
