Help need help with downgrade plz

Me and my wife both updated to gb 2.3.3 on our inspire 4g phones. Now our phones have turned to shit. Locking up all the time, keypad is screwy, and above all our service is always in and out so battery life is not any better like it should have been. What can I do guys( and gals if any) to get something different. Froyo was and will prob be the most stable OS I've dealt with. And if you say downgrade software please give me some instructions sinxe I'm kinda a newbie. And is flashing these Android phones easier or harder than iPhone flashing? Thanks in advance

If you want to remove the Android 2.3, a hard reset can do that for you.

I did that and it still kept the 2.3.3 unless you have more info. Hard reset is the factory reset in the bootloader screen right? If so thats what I did
