My first DROID Eris was routing my mail from Earth link (my email server), through my gmail account, to my phone. Every time I got an email, it would immediately show up on my phone. A tech person at HTC helped me do this by changing settings on my gmail account and on my phone.
My phone was stolen.
I got a new Eris and can't get anyone to help me make it work again - I can't remember exactly what I did the first time. Here are the problems:
1. My gmail settings show my earthlink address coming in to gmail, yet when I get an earthlink email, it does not go to my gmail account. This isn't working.
2. When I send email to my gmail account, it shows up on my phone under the "gmail" app, but does not show up on the "email" icon on my home page.
I hope someone may be able to offer solace. THANKS!
