Help Need help with Group Me

Ive been using Group Me to get around to the problems with not being able to group text with iPhone users, but this application does not alert me when I get a new message so I'm constantly missing them. It's not in business mode or silenced or anything. Has anyone else had this issue and know a fix for it? Thanks

I just send group texts with the stock texting and everyone seems to get them. I know some of them have i-phones. ???
