Root Need help with phone!!!!!! Urgent!!!!

Should be " SPH-M820 " Samsung Galaxy Prevail


EDIT : Other possible numbers they need, might be under the battery !
 
I am almost sure it's the " sph-m820kabst " ! But Heyyyyyy, I could be wrong.... I'd choose that one and just see how they respond......
 
Well, I have no clue about that.....You may just need to call Samsung....... but from what I heard, they are usually pretty good about stuff like that. Maybe you or your Dad can print out something on the Boost Web Site..... Like the first bill or something what says how long you have the phone.... Maybe your Dad has the confirmation from Boost when he signed up !!!

PS: That's why I keep allllllllll my receipts in a shoebox for a year ! ;)

When I had to send a prevail in for warranty repair I didn't need anything, they were able to look up the phone in their system. You should be fine :)

Negative. I'm not sure if it applies to other carriers but Samsung knows exactly when you bought the phone. Boost keeps very good track of their stock. When they were sold at the store register and when they were reported shop lifted etc.

Shoplifted phones cannot be activated. Boost probably forwards this info to Samsung.

They know when you (or someone else) bought it. They know where you bought it and they probably also know how you paid for it.

OK. Dont feel all paranoid now. Go claim your warranty. :D
