Root Need help with PowerOn sound

Hi. Obviously my phones rooted. I changed the boot animation on my phone, the only thing i cant seem to do is change the poweron sound. I added a mp3 file to system/sound/power and i named it PowerOn.mp3. It doesn't seem to work. am i doing something wrong here?

It needs to be named MetroPCS_PowerOn.mp3
Exactly like that, or it won't work.

I think the sound mp3 can only be like 6 seconds or something if to big wont play.

Not true, I had a whole song as the mp3 file on my boot. Though it didn't play through the whole song, it still played while phone was booting. More than a minute and a half.
