Root Need help with rooting NC

Glad it worked. There's a 1.4.1 back to stock guide now too.

Very nice. I'm thinking about selling off my Nook Color. I have the kindle fire now to and I can't keep both lol. I actually like the Nook device better but the kindle software better.. I hate holding the kindle fire.. Nook is more comfortable.

But I'm departing from my question to you. Is the Nook color worth more if its pre-rooted? If so whats the best way to root 1.4?

I considered selling mine, but with refurbs around $100, I just gave it to my sister-in-law, who's helped us out a lot.

I would think with CM7.1 stable would be best. Stock rom they can get anywhere.

Call me what you like I just could not get this hole cwm and drag this and burn that, it just did not work for me. I spent hours trying to get everything to work with no avail. So I did some searching and found someone to do it for me rootnookcolor.com. They save me time and headaches on trying to figure it out anymore and was pretty reasonable.

I created an account specifically for this forum because I have spent literally days trying to figure this out I have an 8 gb SD card.. and I went to multiupload to get the 8gb clockwork.. but a page popped up saying that they've been seized.. i am an idiot when it comes to this sort of thing.. and I need help! I like the nook but I can't do anything with it.

I have an 8gb SD card but I don't really understand what I'm supposed to extract and put on it. ahh i'm about to chuck this thing out the window!

You didn't try all the links. Last I checked a couple of the last ones (wupload) worked.
