Root Need help with sound settings

Okay so while going to change my ringtone..I had wanted to set something I got downloaded to my phone but I accidentally checked "Use this by default" and chose Android so now I only get to choose from default ringtones & such.

How could I go back and revert this? I haven't found any options to undo it yet..I'm running Cyanogen Mod 7.02

Yes, two ways. Easiest would be to use the 'file manager' app and make sure that you have a /media folder on your sdcard and then the three subfolders within it, /alarms, /notifications, and /ringtones. If not, I _think_ you can create that path with file manager. Then go to your download folder on your sdcard, and find the sound you downloaded and copy and/or move it to the desired path as indicated above. i.e., if you want to use it as a ringtone, /media/ringtones (I usually copy all my custom sounds to all three). Then reboot the phone and profit.

I know that sounded like the hard way, but the other way would be to go on your phone to menu -> settings -> applications -> manage applications and then select the "all" tab at the top and scroll down and figure out which one in that huge list is the one you gave the 'default' setting to and then clear only its data/cache.
