Need help with storage!

both link 2sd and app to external work on vm optimus f3 as i use them both.!

Link2SD works great on my VM Optimus F3. But now when I go to download new apps or even update ones that are already downloaded it tells me that I have insufficient space. I go into Link2SD and go to storage info and my Internal, SD Card, Ext SD, and SD Card 2nd Part all show that there is still a great amount of available space...but System shows only 2% available. How do I fix this as that seems to be the problem?

I'm having the same issue. Any help?

I am quite new to posting on forums and im hoping this is in the right spot. I have a virgin mobile lg optimus f3 i got today and i quickly discovered theres no way of moving apps to sd card as a stock option. I rooted the phone an installed titanium back-up which i always do. I have figured out how to move apps to sdcard through mounting. But the main issue i need resolved is installing large sized games. For instance, i really like order & chaos and wanted to install it but the download is larger than my internal storage. I have a 16gig sd i bought but i dont see a use for it outside of just storing and mounting after installations. The games i tend to play require more than 1.2gigs free. I have removed all the excess crap apps that come preloaded. So, how can i install order & chaos on this phone if the downkoad is 1.69gigs.

Bump Mr_Teach's post. Curious if there is a workaround to installing large apps (games!=) like this when internal storage is much less than the app size.

There are several workarounds if your phone is rooted. Using Link2SD works. Using the fliparound method of the phone reading external_SD as internal works, but sometimes fails with some large games and programs. For large games, using GL2SD can help. Those are the three I can think of.

I'd write more, but I want to go back to vacation mode... go look around in the rooted forums for more details. :D :smokingsomb:
