ok is there a rom that i could use were i don't have to do the sprint cl14 part. I cant do that part because my usb port is broken. I flashed my phone from 1.5 to 2.1 a few months ago. So my question is that is there a rom that i could just put on my sd card and just put my phone in recovery mode and apply the rom

I've never seen a method for installing a recovery via sd and without that, I'm sorry to say you're out of luck.
