i can't seem to get my modem up to dk28. when i tried flashing stock 2.2, it said there was an error with the update.zip file on the sd card(error 7). i've read that i can also update the modem to dk28 by using Odin, but i just can't figure out how to do that. i guess i need to learn how to use Odin, but it puzzles me. my ultimate goal is to flash Quantum rom probably, but i need to somehow get my modem up to dk28. i flashed Epic Experience with success, but my modem is still di18, so this rom isn't working right. any help getting to dk28 would be immensely appreciated!

not sure if i bricked my phone or what. after flashing Epic Experience rom without the proper modem installed, i tried restoring my system in recovery mode.... but forgot to do a factory wipe first. but still, all looked good until i went to reboot, and now it just stays on that beginning samsung screen and doesn't go anywhere. i am able to get into recovery mode still, but everytime i restore and reboot, it gets stuck on the Samsung screen.

someone was having the same problem look in this root section of the forum and the thread did i kill my epic i think its called theres a post on there by the moderator kelmar that should have a link directing you to how flash stock with odin which would probably be the only way to fix what they call a soft brick
