Root need help

i know that by asking this people arent going to answer or tell me its illegal. but i used to have verizon but couldnt afford it anymore. i now have boost mobile. i really miss my eris.(i love putting iphone 4s to shame) its rooted with white widow 4.4 Oc'd to 787(stable that is, if u want to go hard and try some 800s and freeze ur phoine b my guest. 787 is just fine). i really dont want to sell it bc i love it but i dont need 2 phones. and i know people are gonna think i stole the phone when i ask this question but i was wondering if someone could help me get my eris on boost. i would greatly appreciate it. if there is any way i could prove its mine i will. or if anyone would be interested in buying it that would b cool. the only thing wrong with it is the trackball wont go down or left. and to experienced android users that means on the recovery screen u cant flash stuff but i found an alternate aman ra which uses the trackball, or the volume up goes up, the volume down goes back a page, and the end key goes down. so you can still experiment with all the fabulous roms the world wide web has to offer. u could even use it to test out ur own roms for yourself. but any help would b greatly appreciated :)

I'm not really sure what your wanting to do. The 1st rom I flashed was WW 4.4 and I really liked it. I couldn't oc mine past 740 and it would freeze. I was wondering the same thing but with straight talk since they are on the verizon network. I'd like to see what the more experienced folks have to say when they chime in.

If you just stopped paying your bill, then the phone prolly has a bad esn. I you simply switched when your contract was up and everything is in good standing, then it's prolly as simple as taking it to a store to activate.

So if you're asking if we can help you hide or fix a bad esn, I think you're sol- with a bad esn your options are cricket,or keep the phone around to play with like a slightly more sophisticated iPod since you can still get apps and Internet via wifi.

Scotty, Can a old Alltel phone (Moto Q or any phone) be used on Straight Talk? When Verizon bought out Alltel ( in my area) they said Alltel phones won't work on Verizon.

awhile ago i was researching wether i could use an unlocked htc hero on verizon and came across this: http://support.vzw.com/faqs/Equipment/faq_phones.html

i thot it had mentioned boost mobile, but rereading it,i dont see any mention of it. wether or not you can use boost on verizon or vice versa will prolly depend on those phones being "branded verizon wireless by the mfgr"

#3 on the faq page, does mention alltel.

if that helps,anyway :)

Yea I figured I was sol. But the only dumb question is the one not asked. Basically I've been using my phone like a badass iPod touch but android :)
