That could be the issue, I wanted to root the phone just so I could take out most of the metro bloatware, but we'll see, I'll post more into this situation
I'm not meaning to sound condescending, so please forgive me. But not everything Metro put in was bloatware.

We found in particular the stock Metro browser is NECESSARY. You can have as many other browsers as you like -- and you can make your favorite the "default" browser -- but the MetroWEB has to stay on the phone.

(Dolphin HD is my default browser, I never even see the MetroWEB browser.)
I rooted my phone but only took out about half a dozen apps. You can take out the so-called "free" games, which aren't really free. And Virtual Card, etc.
Go to the @Metro apps market, and all the apps you see that you can download and install -- are also the ones you can remove. If Metro has them listed there, then they aren't crucial to your phone's OS.
you'll notice the MetroWEB browser is not listed there, yet comes installed on your phone. So, it's not meant to be removed. Maybe someone can figure out a way with a custom ROM, but until then just leave it. Same with other apps that came on your phone...
Some of the other apps are ANDROID apps that come with all Android phones. That's not Metro bloatware.
The only thing 100% safe to remove are the Metro apps that you can find listed in the @Metro apps site.
