Help Need Help!!!

Ok so i was downloading a app that was 5.5 mb.. after it got done downloading it said unsuccesful due to not anough storage amount.. on the settings it says i have 1.55 GB left of storage for applications.. whats wrong??

Go to settings / applications / manage applications /

Select the "all" category and then touch your menu button and select 'sort by size'

You will see two whopper apps that I deleted to free up app storage when I encountered this problem.
