So when I hook my phone up to the computer it recognizes my phone as a USB storage device. I looked this up in the forums and found a fix but it isn't working for me. Anybody else know a fix? Once I get the right drivers will I be able to download my music to the phone? Thanks guys.

isn't that what its suppose to do?
once it does that you can access the sd card and add or remove files as desired.

once i turn on usb i get

card.jpg

from here i open card and edit as needed

Can you import music? I can't. Pics and files no prob. I want to put some of my music on.

what do you mean by import?
i only ask cause all i do is either cut or copy and paste what ever mp3 file i want directly to sd card under media > audio > music

Not sure. When I hook up, a menu comes up and asks if I want to import pics and vids and some other stuff. Im able to take pics from phone to the computer and visa versa. But I see now that its a sync option, so my bad. This is all kinda new to me and learning as I go. So the removeable disk is the card and I take it the usb driver is the phone, yeah? Ok 1 more question... media > audio > music <--is on the card or just what you go through on the computer?? If its on the SD card is that an automatic option? Sorry if this questioning is not making sense or confusing... lol, think Im confusing myself. Im the definition of a newb!

hey i had to learn it as well so we all in this together
once phone is connected and you've turned on usb mass storage your phone can not access the sd card until you either unplug phone or turn off mass storage.
every thing is done through your pc, open removable disk then go to media > audio .............
reason i stopped here is that you may not find the folder your looking for, but that's ok just create one and NAME CORRECTLY it seems this phone dosent search the entire card for mp3s but rather just the folder named music for music. ringtones in ringtones you get the idea .(this apparently only applies when using stock apps and not at all for music, music placed just about anywhere on you sd card should show in your stock music player.)
just add what ever music you want i keep saying mp3s , I've added .wav files as well but just those two if other formats are supported i just do not know at this time.

Ok so there was no media file on the SD card, I created one-named it media, opened that, created a folder, named it audio, open create Music file, put music there correct?

Now for ringtones or sounds I want to put on there I need to always start with Media, then audio then finally ringtones? or alarm etc??

Thank you so much for your help so far:D

Actually i guess I could just back into that right? Just start a new folder where the alongside the music folder?

Ok. got it to work so I can't thank you enough. Another question. I downloaded a ringtone app that came with 57 tones. I only like 1, can I download that 1 to my computer, erase that app then put it back to my phone?? Also because of that app I already have the ringtone folder but when I open it, it goes right to ringtones. So I can leave that be, correct?
