Need help!!!

This past weekend I was up in the mountains, had no service, so I put it into airplane mode. On Sat, my phone got a little wet.... a little bit more than sweat was inside, next to the cam, where there really isn't anything. There was also some moisture on the inside of the case.

After drying everything off, I put the battery back in and restarted the phone. The phone started up as normal, but when it was up and running the date/time was Sat, Jan 5 @ 4pm and I couldn't slide to unlock the phone. Thought maybe cause I had no service... When I got back to where I did, same thing, Sat Jan 5 @ 4pm.

I let the phone dry out for 2 days straight but still same. So what do I do now? Would blow drying it work? Am I gonna need a new phone? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the water marks...are they solid colored or dotted? If they are not, then you could probably get away with sending it out to repair if still not working....otherwise yeah ive blowdried a phone...but if waters in the circuitry theres not much you can do..

If you got it to unlock go to Under Settings -> Date & Time --and try to set it manual and if that works for a few hours then go back and click Automatic.Might just need that lil push.

Now if its still frozen and wont unlock try to reset it this way.You will lose your stuff

Turn the power off.pull the battery out and reinsert it

1. Press and hold Volume up button and the Camera button and then Press and hold Power button till a menu displays with "Android system recovery"
2. Use the Volume button to scroll up and down and use the Camera button to select (click on).
3. Scroll down to "Wipe data/factory reset" and click on it.
4. Scroll down to "Yes -- delete all user data" and click on it.
5. After "Data wipe complete" click on "reboot system now"

But remeber like n0ve said check your watermark indicator if its NOT white its most likely suffered major damage,you can find it behind the battery lower right corner.The good news is if you have the super cheap insurance you will get a new warp for a small deductible fee or free.Best of luck.Have a great Day...

I don't have a hair dryer and didn't want to wait til my gf got off work to borrow hers, so I followed the advise of a friend and put it in uncooked white rice to finish drying it.
After letting it sit for a couple hours, I cleaned out the phone, but the battery in and rebooted. Nothing changed.... I took justtom's advise and did the factory reset. Time/date stamp is now right but I can't unlock the phone still.

Any other things I can try??

Hello spencer is your lock set as just the slide lock or a pattern lock? is it stock or are you using a app like WidgetLocker ? also what color is the water damage indicator.You also might want to put it back in a container with rice,remember to remove the battery first but also to put it in with the phone no need to put in the back cover and seal it up for at least 48 hrs a couple hrs is not long enough this method does work some times.My youngest Daughter dove into the pool with her ipod in her pocket last year and i thought it was done.she covered it with rice in a zip-lock bag put it on her shelf for a week while we where on vacation and it worked when we returned.One last question do you have the insurance?Have a great Day...

I use the slide lock on my phone and golauncher. Not sure if that helps. The water damage indicator looks white, just not as bright as the rest of the inside sticker. More like an off white. After I tried the factory reset and it didn't work, I put the phone back in the rice. I'll put the battery in now and try it again tomorrow. I DO NOT have the insurance. Stupid, I know. Especially after I turned my first Warp into a brick trying to root it. However, when I bricked it, I talked to ZTE and had to send the phone in for repairs. They actually sent me a brand new phone at no charge. Hopefully, if things don't work out with this phone drying out, they'll do the same thing. Thanks for the help, hopefully I can get it going again.

Hi everyone. Im really hoping someone is familiar with this problem and can give me a bit of help. Ive been having a huge problem with receiving texts, calls, and voicemails. Sometimes, someone can call me over and over, yet i have NO missed call from that person and my phone never rings. When people send me a text message, i receive it hours or even a day later!!! When someone leaves me a voicemail, i literally receive it between 2-4 days later. This is EXTREMELY frustrating and inconvenient. I have already tried calling boost about this.....they tried everything they could, but nothing has changed. Please help. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance everyone.
By the way, my phone is a zte warp.

Boost has been doing some work on their towers to increase 4g coverage... your problem sounds like a direct result of this and many others have experienced the same thing as of late...

I'm sure boost did this with you but do it again anyway,go ahead and update your PRL & Profile.In the 7+ months having this unit I never had any problems with texts untill just resently last two weeks not getting them till later on,I talked to my buddy who works/owns a sprint store and he said there are many maintenance upgrades going on in our area on the towers (north east pa)not sure where your at but his recomendation was to just keep updateing my prl

Thank you both for the advice. I have been updating my profile and prl almost everyday, and i have still been experiencing this annoying problem. I sure hope this isnt going to be a permanent issue......
