What I need: for my customer to have an icon, if this is what it is called on his phone that links to his website.

Your explanation sounds like you're looking for a shortcut to the site from the home screen.

If that's the case...
Open the web browser on the phone and go to his website. Once you're on the site, add it to the browser's bookmarks. Then go to the bookmark of the site and long press on it. You will then get a menu... on this menu select "add shortcut to home". You will now have on the home screen a shortcut that opens directly to the site.
