i dropped my samsung galaxy S2 LTE a while ago and the screen cracked and all. it worked fine for a long while, just like it has ever since i got it. but just now i had it in my lap and i went to unlock the screen and it was black. i hadnt dropped it ever since the incident happened and i have babied it every day after it happened, the screen isnt black like it wont turn on, its like a dark grey/light black. like the screen still works but you cant see anything. the 4 icons at the bottom still light up (settings/home/back/search) there is a chunk that fell out when i dropped it, half the samsung logo is cracked off just below the ear piece and this brown plastic like strip with numbers on it is visible, if any of these things caused this random problem can i fix it? can i just take apart then re assemble it? need an answer asap!
 
You have got a hardware problem. Your skill set should determine what you try. Have you checked pricing, what parts do you plan on replacing? What happens if its more than one thing. How much does a replacement phone cost?
