Root need help

my phone started to disapoint me when the part a little below the notification bar (whole horizontal strip of the screen) stopped working i figured it was a minor problem it went for days tought it was the rom so i went ahead and in desperation went to the recovery using (4ext) formated all partion except sd card and just when i was going to click install from sd card did i also notice that strip wasnt working anymore so now im romless in a recovery were i can't restore a backup/flash a rom im basically screwed it makes me sad knowing the phone went to ruins like that but well is there a way to flash the other recovery were when you scrolled you needed to use the volume keys ??

Flashing Instructions

Zip Install

Rename the zip file PG86IMG.zip and place it in the root of your sdcard. Power off the device and boot up holding Power and Volume Down. Confirm the flash. Reboot your phone and remove the zip file from your sdcard root or rename it.

IMG Fastboot Install

With fastboot installed on your computer, boot your phone into the Fastboot USB mode. Type:

fastboot flash recovery /path/to/recovery.img

thanks i was able to get my phone running again yet i still have the screen problem hopefully get that checked out soon and fixed
