Need Live TV App

trillium

Newbie
I must be living in a black hole because every time I try to download an app to watch live tv on my tablet it is either not compatible with my device or no available in Canada. Does anyone know of a good app for this purpose, free or paid, don't matter much. Thanks

Sorry this doesn help you mate but for anyone in UK, the TvCatchup app or m.tvcatchup.com plays most of the Freeview channels "live" and for free

I use USTV from ppclink in play store
It is free with ads...but maybe $2 for ad-free version..You have to go to a different website to pay (not thru playstore) but I didn't have any problems.

Works very well...but depends on quailty of their live stream connection...
sometimes off line but popular channels have more than one stream
You can seach for abc/fox/nbc/cw/cbs also has hbo and all premium channels
hundreds of channels!

I found this after a lot of trial and error and this one works best.
I think the paid version will even record a show but I haven't tried it yet

Im wondering, if we download an app for a different country, will we be able to view it?
I know UK channels are a bit different because of the BBC not having commercials and being "forceably" payed for (grr) but what about other nations?

Update: USTV is downloadable from playstore in UK and works. Thanks mate. Free discovery channel :)

Anyone know which US channel plays new episodes of The Big Bang Theory? We're only at season6 in UK

CBS is the network in US
Thursday @ 8pm est I think

Another good TV app is jetflicks
It's not free but have pretty much every season of every US TV show ever on it...usually new shows are uploaded day after they air...
They were working on having it work outside the US
They have a free trial app...so you can see if it will work for you...

I've been using the app for years....really great!
