Need Major HELP ! *new to forums*

Hey everyone,

I need someone who knows a lot more than me about this stuff,

I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace II x

I was on facebook maybe a week or two ago and saw that there was a new
layout to the app, I liked it a lot !

But just recently it has gone back to the second most recent layout as in the layout before the update

But the thing is I didn't do anything for either issue but I know that on April 12 2014 Facebook updated the app but I don't have the updated layout.

I have tried uninstalling and installing and restarting my phone and logging out.... everything!

Someone help me out !

Hello GordClark95. Welcome to Android Forums. I'm guessing what you are seeing is a facebook thing and has nothing to do with your phone. You might try looking again at facebook and see if there is a link to the view you saw. I'm not a facebook guy so I'm not keen on what they have for a mobile interface. I hope this helps.

The new layout is server side and they (Facebook) will roll it out and take it away depending on the different bugs and such that they find.
I have been a beta tester for 9 months and just got the new layout a few weeks ago.
Give it time and it will be back.

Welcome to the forums, GordClark95. Like Olbriar, I'm also not on FB but would you mine posting the version you currently have?
You can find that under app info in settings.

FB will push the update when they think it is ready to be marketed, via Play store, or as a regular update if you've got it installed already.

Like some others who've replied, I don't do Facebook, but I'm guessing it's a server-side issue. However, I've moved this thread to the Galaxy Ace 2 board just in case it is device specific.

It's not a device issue. It is 100% server side.

It always seems a bit odd when mods move threads like this to the device subforum. It would surely be better in Android Applications seeing as it's an issue with an app, not the device.
