Need new keyboard!

Can anyone help me, I want the htc hero keyboard back! I installed a rom and it uses the the original android keyboard and i hate it. Can anyone show me where I can get the original htc hero keyboard back, or a nice better keyboard. Thank you.

If you don't like the xda keyboard, check out Smartkeyboard Pro. I use it and love it, probably wouldn't use anything else.

Yes I also use Smart Kayboard Pro and it works fantastically, definitely my fav

I installed this and it's supposed to be enabled, I mean, I checked the check box to enable it, but when I try to change keyboards I can't find it. All I see is the stock keyboard options... and yes, I already restarted my phone..

Go to a text message and long press where you would type at... Change input method
