I'm looking at updating my cell phone and I'm debating between the Galaxy S 2 and the HTC Admire (or w/e it's called) but there is a third, cheaper option that I'm also considering.
However, it has a much slower processor than the two mentioned and I plan on using it for internet tethering. In fact, the only reason I am upgrading my phone is for 4G access and tethering. The lady at the store suggested that the faster CPUs would affect the tethering speeds I would experience. This didn't sound right to me, (and i've witnessed this employee be less than helpful to others, if ya know what I mean) and I did some preliminary research. I've found passing mentions that seem to indicate that, no, processor speeds does not affect wireless tethering, but I wanted a straight answer from people who know what they're talkin about.
Thanks in advance.
