Need Root Explorer1.1.apk

[ndex477]

Does anyone have Root Explorer version compatable with Froyo? Please post .apk file. Thanks very much.

Root explorer is a paid application, yes?

[palmtree5]

Yes, it is

[ndex477]

Yes, but the new version appears not to be compatable with Android 2.2 Froyo. So if someone has version 1.1 or 2 they could post the apk(zip) file if that's ok.

You probably won't get it posted here since it's a paid app and that violates the sites piracy policy. You might have better luck e-mailing the dev to see if they can help you out.

I installed it but it only has read-only access. /data folder is not accessable.

Have you tried mounting as R/W?

[ndex477]

The app won't allow it. It doesn't have the R/W buttons like the older versions.

Try es file explorer. Its free and has a compatible version all the way back to cupcake

[ndex477]

That's the version i upgraded to. Do i need to buy the paid version again to get R/W access?

[LilBit]

Install this. Free.

Checked out the link. Does this app allow access to the Linux root file system or is it just a file manager?

[LilBit]

Moved to AL. Were better served in here with threads like this.
