need root hardware

can I root a Verizon to tmobile since it has a sim card port?
 
No, the SIM card in a Verizon phone is for 3G/4G (data) not 2G (voice). A Verizon phone still uses CDMA for 2G, and a TMobile phone can't understand that.
 
Don't think so since VZW is a CDMA carrier and T-Mobile uses GSM. VZW does use SIM cards for their 4G service, but that's not going to work for you.
