I am totally new at this and I was asking for a little root help. The HTC Wildfire S comes with a really low internal memory. Especially if you're with Virgin Mobile from all the bloatware. And apparently the only way to get rid of it is by rooting it. I was also interested in the Adfree app for roted phones. I am a total noob and I am desperately asking for help. Can someone also explain what S On and S Off are? Thanks! Oh and I was looking for one click root but any root will do

Root Need Root Help One Click Root If Possible

There is no "one click" method of rooting the WFS since either the bootloader must be unlocked or S-OFF obtained before rooting can take place. The "S" stands for security and with it on you cannot do certain things to the device. With it off, you can flash any partition, change CID, root, etc.
To root your device you should follow the guide below carefully, especially section 5 since you plan to make changes to your ROM (ie, remove bloatware). It's a long process, but you'll understand your phone much better when you're done.
