I have books in both .mobi and epub formats on my PC.
How do I:

  1. get them onto the Galaxy 10.1 WIFI
  2. get them to the correct folder
  3. access them for reading
Same question for MP4 videos and mp3 audio files.

My Note 10.1 will be delivered next week and I only have a day to get
it ready for an extended AMTRAK tour, so I am trying to be prepared to set
up all my apps, books, music, & videos. I ordered a 32 Gig SD card.

Many, many, many thanks

You'd put the SD card in your PC's card reader and create on the card three or more folders/sub folders (with names that you like) for eBooks, videos and music and copy your files in these.
Put the SD card in your tablet, install Moon+ Reader and use the app's file explorer to find the books.
For the media, your gallery will find them automatically :)

Later for putting more books and media on your tablet you'd install the free ES File Explorer which let you access network shares on your PC via WiFi.

Thanks for the explanation.

Which is better, mobi or epub I have both versions?
I bought them from a publisher who gives you mobi, epub, and pdf.

Thanks again.

I'd prefer epub, but not converted from another eBook format. Better an original mobi than a mobi to epub converted ;)

Moon+ Reader is able to read mobi, epub, pdf and some others ...

I actually use Fabrik reader. I can't recall what I didn't like about Moon+ so I'm not sure which features it does/doesn't have. I like Fabrik b/c it can sync with my Dropbox folder. On my PC I use Calibre to manage all my ebooks (99% epub format), which also syncs to the same Dropbox folder. So now if/when I add a new book to my pc through Calibre, it will automatically show up in Fabrik the next time I open that up.
