need some help please.

Hi all. Im new to all this stuff.ive just got a samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1. Can some please tell me how i can put pictures from my camera to the tablet and save them. Also do i need to get virus checking software for it?

Hello and welcome to the forums jack_st - thanks for joining!

You'd need to put the pictures from the camera on the computer, connect the tablet as USB mass storage and, when windows explorer pops up the explore window, drag and drop the pictures to the tablet. You should be putting the pictures in a folder called "pictures" or "DCIM" - either of these may be in another folder "media".

As for anti-virus... Android is Linux, so isn't really affected in the same way as Windows. I use something called Avast... it has some nice features... it scans apps as you install them and lets you know if they could be malwear and also has some more advanced options.
