Root need stock rom dump

i should be getting a test unit but it will need the stock rom before i can use it. can someone do a nandroid or something and get it to me?

I just got the phone like 2hrs ago. I can help. Just tell me what to do. Do I need to root it first??
I just went into recovery and it didn't have an option for backup. Only options I see are:

- reboot system now.
- apply update from ADB
- wipe data/factory reset.
- wipe cache partition.
- apply update from external storage.
- md5 check.

stock recovery doesnt do anything beneficial really lol. itd have to be a nandroid backup via an app or you can pull it via adb with an

adb pull /system

command

If you will post a step by step how to do it I will be glad to. Never worked with adb before.

You need custom recovery for that to work.

Yes I had to root the phone for the App to work. I tried the nandroid backup using the app. It didn't work for everything. It only backed up my data and system.

I have a "system.ext4.tar" file that's about 600MB and a data file "data.ext4.tar" that's about 500MB.
Is this what you are looking for??

Oh also, should I have done a factory reset first??
I installed some apps and changed a few settings while playing around with the phone earlier.

factory reset isnt necessary. and ill need the system.tar thats it. thank you

I was trying to upload to dropbox last night and it seemed to have failed twice. My ISP sucks for uploads. I think I get a max upload speed of 500kbp, where as downloads max out at 8mbps.
Unfortunately, I'm at work (most sites are blocked. can't upload or copy any files here) so I will try again when I get home tonight. Sorry!!
