I need testers for a custom ROM coming soon to the LG Optimus M.. ;)

For my 2nd project I also need testers for an Aosp Rom. I have a build uploading now. Expect for aosp to have many things not working correctly and I'll need testers that have adb setup and are willing to run a adb logcat and pastebin the outputs right after opening something that doesn't work. If there are booting issues I will need you to run adb shell dmesg > dmesg.txt early in the boot process and upload the dmesg.txt.
 
I would like to begin testing. I know Haykuro (IRL) and since he has access to my phone, we could definitely do some debugging and testing.
 
music app works perfect ,gallery also sound recorder works ...watching videos is laggy..live wallpapers are good and run very smooth

Thats why I needed the apns-conf for metro. You have radio up correct? It shows signal or an X over it? Do wifi bluetooth work?

Please download and install android sdk if you dont have it and from cmdline/ terminal from android sdk tools directory type ddms or ddms.bat and get a screenshot of homescreen and about screen showing build id.
 
sorry i cant do it right now iam on my laptop ill try to install everything in my laptop ...but it says iam running android 2.2.1 and kernel version 2.6.32.9

ok we need to figure out metro's apn stuff to connect to metro and that means I have radio up and working. How about sdcard and mass storage? Not to bad for 1st attempt without a device. It took me over 3 months to port froyo to lg ally :). Try also the wifi tether hotspot option under settings to see how it goes. It won't connect most likely without the apn though. Just want to make sure I have it setup right for ap/softap.
 
Wait wait wait....I took a little break this weekend from the phone stuff. Been trying to get a working Tri-Boot of Mac OS X Snow Leopard, Windows 7 Ultimate and Ubuntu 10.04 on my PC. Only took me a day and a half to get Snow Leopard up with Video, Network and Sound working properly. Windows 7 and Ubuntu will be a breeze though.

Anyway, are both Trident and getitnowmarketing working on two separate projects or is this a joint effort?

I'm working on the aosp solo and trident is doing most of the regular custom rom himself (I supplied him with some needed built from source stuff). My talent lies in building from source things like aosp, kernel's, & recovery. Trident is probably the best in cdma Lg land for making killer roms. The both of us kicked off and spurred development on the Lg ally so you optimus M users have some nice things in store I'd say.
 
Ok......NOW I think I'm ready to do some testing. Three days straight trying to get a Tri-boot failed. So I just stuck with Windows 7 and Snow Leopard. But anyway. I got what I needed from Trident and will begin testing shortly.
 
If you guys need any testing let me know. I recovered my optimus from near brick state with custom recovery and the zero rom 1.1. I also have active service, and in case i did brick my phone I can war swap it easily (cause I work for metro).
