Root Need to confirm which bootstrap recovery for .588

OK, I've seen some conflicting answers/advice - when I had froyo rooted I used bootstrap recovery for the X - with GB (all versions) I need the version for the D2 correct? Will the X strap not work at all?

Just needed to clarify that, and with that in mind is a nandroid possible with .588 using the correct recovery backup?

Use Droid2 recovery, I've heard Droid X can be used if debugging is UNticked, but can't tell you for sure. But I know that Droid2 works
