Root Need to go back to stock

Hey all got a new phone and planning to sell this phone and wanted to bring it back to as close as i can to brand new. Ive seen some people mention Ruu but the links are dead can someone who knows the link post it please and thank you
 
well im following the unrooting guide for the HTC evo V 4g . i locked the phone * says relocked * and then i run RUU which after maybe 3 minutes gives me error 140 any ideas why it would do that?

I had a similar issue with mine going back to stock. The only way I found was to use Jbear to get s-off and then use the RUU. I had hboot 1.58 and the VM version of jbear was not compatible with my hboot so I used the Sprint verion that was compatible with the 1.58 hboot. Also I had to download a live cd for Ubuntu because Jbear wouldn't work on my windows computer. Once I was on the live cd everything worked first time and the wire trick isn't that hard to do. Hope this helps you out.
