Help need to restart HTC Desire C get a mobile signal

My HTC Desire C keeps on losing its mobile signal (wireless is perfect). I should have a full signal but it keeps on falling way and won't come back unless I restart my phone and than I have the signal back for some time. Has anyone have similar problems or advice to overcome this problem.

Android version 4.0.3
HTS sence version 4.0
software number 1.45.1132.4

This problem is solved quite easily. WiFi and phone signal are linked within the software. Go to Settings; then Menu; then Advanced. There is something called "Network notification --- notify me when an open network is available". [maybe different wording according to the software number] This is ticked by default. Untick it. All will now be well. This is because when your WiFi signal is low, the phone will automatically look for another one. At this point you will lose the phone signal. If the box is ticked the phone signal will be lost and can only be restored by a reboot. But unticking the box means you don't have to do this!

I have to admit that I've never seen any mobile signal problem connected to WiFi settings on either of my HTCs (Desire and One) or my wife's Desire C. But I guess give it a try.

I did have a problem like this a couple of years ago, and it was caused by my SIM starting to fail. Getting the SIM replaced fixed it.
