F*** cancer and to anyone who has lost someone to it I am so sorry. This has been a battle worse than anything I could imagine but its almost over. For the longest time I didn't want to give up hope and quit fighting, now I know that the only option is to let her go. So again, to anyone who has lost someone or us facing this just be strong.

I don't know the particulars here, but I can read between the lines. I also think I know all too well what you are going through and it sucks big time. Please accept my sincerest sympathy to both of you!

i know the feeling of loss. i just lost my dad to alzheimers last year. and my mom just went through breast cancer (she lost both of her breasts) a few months back. so i absolutely know what you are going through. like you said be strong and thanx for sharing this with us.

my thoughts go out to you and your family.

My oldest step son and mother are survivors, my first wife and my first mother in law weren't as lucky. I can feel your pain. Use us here at AF as a release/escape in you need.

She was diagnosed in October, she has been in hospice now for 4 days, she will be gone tonight or tomorrow. Been a really rough battle it all happened so fast, she was fine and then all of a sudden she was in hospital and been watching her lose everyday for a month. Its weird but I'm glad that its almost over took me til the very end but now that its this bad I just want her to be at peace

I am so sad to hear. I have lost friends and family to cancer.

My mom also had breast cancer, had a masectomy, and is surviving.

Your are right....cancer sux! :(

You both will be in my prayers!

You know it is bad when the end is welcomed. I prayed nightly as a young man that my mother's end would come. Such suffering... Cancer is beyond inhumane.
I have never let a loved pet suffer like that. I'm very sorry for your situation.
Lean on your friends, family, and your God and never lose that special place in your heart for her.

My deepest sympathy Targaryen... Stay strong and feel free to talk here if you need somebody.

You'll be in my prayers..

I'm so sorry to hear of what you're going through Targaryen. You have my deepest sympathies. I truly wish you and (you don't say, but I assume) your wife some comfort and peace.

I have lost many family members to cancer, including both of my parents. Truly an evil disease. So sorry to hear about your situation. I do want to say thank you to all of the hospice workers out there. That has to be one of the toughest jobs in the world, and most of them do it with great dignity and grace. May your loved one find peace, and you as well.
