Help Need to Turn off Data

I left VZW and went to Page Plus with a very low data plan. I want to be sure not to go over bc the overage charge is expensive!

Do how do I turn off my apps when not using? Also how to turn off the auto update and anything else I need to know.

Settings > Mobile Network > Mobile Data

It might be different for your phone, but that should get close enough

Play Store app set ... Settings | Auto-update apps ... to ... Do not autoupdate apps.
