Root ***Need to UNROOT and RETURN TO STOCK***

I am selling my Evo back to Sprint and need to UNROOT and RETURN TO STOCK so that they cannot see it was rooted. Can someone please show links and advise on how to UNROOT and RETURN TO STOCK so Sprint can buy back my phone??

I started a new post for this because I see bits and pieces of How To on different posts. I would like to have a step by step guide in one post and then everyone who needs to Unroot and get back to stock, can using one post.

power off the phone and then press and hold power+vol down. thi swill take you to the bootlader screen. at the top it will say what your hboot version. i believe you rooted with revolutionary so you can use the gingerbread edition and not the gingerbread 2.3.5 edition
