Need urgent help of Experts

Hi,

I am in serious trouble. I am having a mt6575 s4 clone. Which have internal storage 503 mb and internal sd 2.06 GB. My phone is rooted and by MTKdroidtools i have made two backup also in my laptop (plus clockworkmod backup in sd card). After reading article
( Greg's Mobile gadgets: HOW TO INCREASE YOUR INTERNAL MEMORY PARTITION ON YOUR MTK6577 PHONES )
to increase internal memory partition I have downloaded this file (Mt657xRepartition_EN.apk)..after went through shown step i come to
cwm recovery and get this messege-

E: can't mount/cache/recovery/command

E: can't mount/cache/recovery/log

E: can't open/cache/recovery/log

E: can't mount/cache/recovery/last.log

E: can't open/cache/recovery/last.log

ignoring this messege i went for factory wipe/reset as discussed in the article. After that when i pressed for reboot my phone got dead. After that i have remove the battery and tried again to turn on but one blur screen came (i think its samsung boot logo which i have lost when i had rooted my phone). then i tried to open it again in cwm mode and succeed, but restore is not working from sd card...though those backup i made just before that partitioning operation. first it said- emmc & sd-ext cant mount...then i have formatted whatever i could...after that when i tried to restore again sd-ext.img not found...i have tried to restore from different way...but all the time failed...i have manually checked all the backup in my laptop and sd card..i couldn't find it anywhere.....pls help me...i have downloaded some rom for my
phone (same baseband & karnel) but still its not allowing to install it..pls help...u can mail me at kliffroger@yahoo.com

Yeh serious trouble I think here. It really needs to be re-loaded with the manufacturer's software ROM, but nearly always with these counterfeit phones that's not available. Even if you find another ROM with same baseband and kernel, there's no guarantee that's going to work. You could try looking for MT6575 compatible ROMs, and take your chances there. Because sometimes these fakes are based on the same or similar MediaTek reference designs.

That software like the ROM might have to come from the original manufacturer, who in this case is unknown. Often manufacturers will have their own specific ROM loading tools.

I can't really give any more help except to say, if you can read and write technical Chinese, you'll sometimes find more info on Baidu than Google about these things.

dear,

I agreed with u and i want to pay my gratitude for ur valuable time. if i want i can manage the stock rom for my phone..i have introduced with some people around the world through this kind of forum, who are using the same phone. But i will request u to go through my post again and suggest me that if i can manage the rom i will be able to restart my phone...coz my understanding is i have destroy the partition so even if i could manage the rom it will not solved the problem...pls tell me about this sd-ext and emmc issue...if those cant be mount how the rom can be installed...i dont know actually...u can tell better...pls help

Hi. As far as i know, flashing a factory rom will not fix what you did to the partitions. You have to somehow find out how to get the partitions back to normal.
Unfortunately i know nothing about doing that because moving partitions is a very risky thing. Sorry and good luck

I think that's pretty much it. The manufacturer would more than likely have a special software tool to automatically format, partition and load the ROM during production. So unless you know exactly how it was, it's probably hosed. And of course being a counterfeit phone, there's just no information available.
