Need WPA_SUPPLICANT file

Salaam All,

Would some kind soul give me the WPA_SUPPLICANT file please, if you have the same ROM. One dumb software replaced my file and now WIFI is not working.

Now before download another one did you reset the device . The reason i ask i know of someone that uploaded a new one and it still didnt work but when he factory reset that did the job and made the wifi much better .

Thanks for the reply. I have tried factory reset as well. I had downloaded another wpa_supplicant file from another source, it works (I can connect to saved profiles) but I cant modify, add or remove any saved wifi profile. So I suspect its the incorrect wpa_supplicant version.

I can re-download the whole ROM and extract the required file but with my internet speed it would take ages to grab 1GB.

Therefore I asked if someone with the same ROM could upload the file.

How is that you reset and you still have the wifi profiles still listed the reset is to delete all wifi info cause one or more profiles is causing the problems. But also you wanted to extract one from another rom or even the same rom . All you need is the file or root explorer yes one that you can select the permission on but make sure u put in the correct place you dont need no pc nor laptop nor do u need service on the device if u have the root or file explorer on the tip of your sd card.
