So I've been patiently waiting for the Galaxy Nexus 4G on Verizon like most of you here, and have been pretty excited for its upcoming release. That being said, I am honestly getting to the point where I need a new phone now, and the closer it gets to Christmas, the less money I'll have to spend on buying myself a new phone (I'll have to buy outright on both Sprint and Verizon).
My question is this:
Do I wait for the GNex and all of the cool things that come with it such as Verizon's 4G LTE, Dual Core Processor, LED notifications (huge plus for me), among other things and spend the $600-$700 this phone will be off contract...
Or...
Do I just suck it up and buy a Nexus S 4G on my Sprint line, and slap an ICS rom on it and spend $200-250, and miss out on all of the new features? I really want to wait on this phone, but I need a something better asap.
I think overall, I'm more excited and interested in ICS more than anything, and given the ability to slap ICS on the Nexus S made me consider buying it, but the new hardware is definitely a factor in my decision.
Just wanted to get you guys thoughts and see what you'd do.
Thanks in advance to anyone who replies!
